Babouch in Los Angeles

Loved the atmosphere, really fresh food and friendly service. I'm really excited to come back for happy hour, I was told they have a great HH menu. Babouch is under new management and the food quality improvemens are great and the drinks were a reason to come back on their own. All in all a great date night spot!

Absolutely a spot worth trying, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the rates are fair and it is always neat there. Keep up the good work.

I loved my plate of lamb with eggplant and the trip tip kabobs. Oh and the show by the lovely belly dancer Shanti.

The good was delicious, especially the lamb and the tea!! The belly dancer danced with the kids ( so cute!)...and the staff was great.

Really good food. The place is tiny but the service is pretty good. They have good prices on food and drinks. We went with a large party and we all had a really good time. If you do go with a large group then make sure to get the party meal. Otherwise I would go with the Prix Fixe menu option

Love it, love it, love it... the food... the atmosphere... the service. Highly detailed restaurant that transports you to Morocco as soon as you walk in the door. The food was delicious, its best to come hungry and with an open mind to try new things. The service was incredible, Montana was amazing to our party... definitely coming back again and again!

My husband and I decided to bring our little one on our date night. We were nervous at first but upon arriving they treated us and our son like family. They were so kind and even gave the baby some toys to play with while we relaxed and enjoyed our night. The food was amazing and filled with lots of flavors. As for the price it’s definitely worth every cent spent. We now love going and enjoying our date nights along with our little one.

The customer service is regularly efficient, great ambiance, friendly employees. Will return here again!

BEWARE RAW CHICKEN SERVED!!!! Due to the low lighting in this family owned business it’s very easily to mistakenly well done juicy chicken for RAW UNCOOKED CHICKEN. Please look closely at everything that comes out of the kitchen. When I realize that I was eating RAW CHICKEN and brought it to the daughter attention Jazz. Her response was it was late and the cook is busy. My response to that was you need to fire him. You have one job being the cook and that is to properly cook the food. I’m disgusted. I became ill and they will be seeing me in small clams court.

I had a very tasty four course dinner with excellent service tonight. The decor, music and traditional Moroccan customs made the experience fun and different. No belly dancers tonight, but still a great place with excellent food.

It appears there are deals here such as the happy hour appetizers normally eight dollars for five dollars. I ordered a bunch and for the most part they were pretty satisfying. Their entrees from the rabbit, lamb and chicken appear to be stewed, which isn't a bad thing just a thing I noticed. You might be tempted to deliberate between the choices of meat and the variances between the different options within one category of meat. I would recommend the rabbit for it's distinctive taste. The differences between the various options of lamb are minor. They are all cooked in a similar fashion I would say the difference is one has prunes and one has onions but they taste the same.

It was like being inside a Moroccan tent the beef and chicken shish kabobs were very delicious with the Moroccan tea!

Worst experience, drove 2 hours to find it closed due to private event? No respect for customers, will never get my business

The Moroccan meatballs are the star of this place!! The Beef kabobs are good also! They always have some type of cool party, karaoke going on here and it's always live! Good drinks and the people running the place are very friendly.

Pleasant, seemingly authentic food and environment. Service was good. We could have done without the belly dancer/tarot reader though. They were out of some items to drink. Kind of surprising but not the worst thing.

My father has loved this place for over 15 years, and we went recently for his birthday, it made his night! Never fails to impress, also very culturally accurate and immersive. It's an entire unparalleled package as if you traveled to Morocco itself.

Sixteen of us celebrated my husband’s birthday at Babouch Restaurant this past Saturday and had a wonderful time. The new and former owners were very attentive to our party, making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience.The food was very tasty and authentic. It was as close to Moroccan comfort food as you can get outside of Morocco. We had a five course meal for $25 family buffet style. That’s amazing.This restaurant continues to be one of our best kept secrets in San Pedro even though we reside in Orange County. It’s definitely worth the drive.

The atmosphere here is calm and the low lighting really sets the mood for a date, plus there's a belly dancer that will dance with you. I'd recommend this place for a quit weekend date but be advised the menu can be a bit pricey but otherwise I recommend it.

The food was really good, but the portion sizes are small for the price they sell them for. The wait times were very long. I waited about an one hour and half for three people. However would still recommend the experience is worth it.

Been going to the babush Moroccan restaurant for 30 years and it's never disappointed me it's always very interesting very fun and the food is delicious the belly dancing is great the atmosphere is great service is great it's just a total fun evening to do. I love taking people from out of town and people who have never had Moroccan food and done it the Moroccan way there. It's a trip.

The food was great. The ambiance is very Moroccan. Its a great experience. They even have a belly dancer who performes twice a night. I recommend trying it out if you havent been there.

Dinner was great. Great belly dancing. And owner was super cool. Going back for comedy night next week.
